Your help is needed…
We are asking that people attend the Tuesday, June 28th Blackstone Board of Selectmen meeting to show in numbers our desire to have the BOS enter into negotiation with the Diocese of Worcester for the purpose of purchasing our St. Theresa property.
Why is this important? Hearing the news of our parish closing was devastating. With the thought that our worship site would be used for private or commercial use, only adds to our grief. So, when it was suggested that the town of Blackstone purchase our church property to serve the senior population with a much-needed Senior Center and possible senior housing, relief was felt by many, and a renewed sense of faith was gained.
This item is on the board’s meeting agenda. Please help us impress to others that this property’s use continues to serve others as it has since 1929, when our church was opened.
We hope to see you there!
Thank you for your support and may St Theresa continue to pray for us!
