Please be sure to attend Masses on May 15th and 16th to hear a short presentation from Thomas Dorsz (Legacy Of Hope Campaign Director from Worcester). Watch the following video that contains a message from Bishop McManus to learn more about this campaign.
Our Parish Is In Need…
Do you have an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour per week to
offer your time and talents? If so, your help is needed to
lighten the load for those who have been cleaning and
disinfecting the church in order to hold weekly Masses
since its re-opening.
“Two are better than one because they have good reward
for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other”
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
For this reason, Our Lord says:
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I
in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20)
St. Theresa's Religious Education program is holding a parent meeting this Wednesday, October 28th at 6:30pm in the church.
As stated in the letter sent home, this meeting is to inform you on what our program will look like this year and how we intend to adhere to the State and Diocese requirements due to COVID. Fr. Thien and I hope to see you there. If you are unable to attend but intend to register your child(dren) for our program this year, please let us know by Wednesday of this week, either through email or phone.
We have been busy restructuring the classrooms, and want to be ready to accept all our returning students in these spaces.

NEW FULL COLOR BULLETIN COMING SOON
We have contracted with a new bulletin publishing company,
starting our first weekend in September.
Our new bulletin company is John Patrick Publishing.
The bulletin will continue to be a tri-fold format, but with a new look and in color!
John Patrick Publishing is currently reaching out to our local business establishments to run adds on the back of our bulletin. If you know of an establishment that would be interested in supporting our parish, they may contact Jim Bochiechio at 781-389-2198.
Not just for businesses... you may want to consider running an add with an “in memory of” message to honor a deceased loved one (1-year commitment)
Wishing you good thoughts and many blessings along the way!
St. Theresa’s Parish Office
St. Theresa's Parish Re-Opening Update as of May 21, 2020
As many of you may already know, on Monday of this week Governor Baker announced the 1st phase of the emergence from restrictions he imposed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. As part of phase 1, the Governor has allowed for churches to resume, but with restrictions.
Once the State announced it's restrictions, Bishop McManus, in a decree lifted his suspension of public celebrations of the Sacred Liturgy, but with imposed liturgical adaptations be implemented throughout the Diocese. He has directed all Priests "to carefully observe the restrictions which continue to be imposed by government authorities in the interest of public health".
The Bishop made it quite clear that a parish cannot hold public celebrations of the Mass and sacraments if they cannot comply with the safety standards issued by the Office for Divine Worship.
To comply with both the Bishop's decree on safety and the State's social restrictions, we are using this week to put into place all safety standards and precautions necessary in order to begin celebrating Mass again. Our goal is to reopen the Church and hold our first public Mass on Saturday, May 30th at 4:00pm. We will continue to update you, our parishioner via Facebook, our Website, announcements posted at the entrance of the church, and other methods of communication.
Thank you for your patience and prayers!
Bishop McManus has announced the appointment of Father Thien X. Nguyen as pastor of St. Theresa Parish effective immediately!
As of Feb. 21st 2020, Fr. Thien transitioned from our administrator to “Pastor” of St. Theresa’s. This coming July 1st will mark Fr. Thien’s 6th year here, having initially been assigned as associate pastor on July 1, 2014. He was then assigned as administrator on July 1, 2015. Fr. Thien was ordained a priest on June 2, 2001 by Bishop Reilly in St. Paul Cathedral.
Gracious and Loving God, we Thank You for the gift of our parish priest, Fr. Thien. Through him, we experience your presence in the sacraments. Grant him wisdom, understanding, and strength to continue to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Allow him to experience joy in his ministry, and be instruments of your divine grace. Amen.
